Facebook birthday fundraisers

Do you have a birthday coming up and want to help save cheetahs as part of your celebrations? Have you seen friends and family doing ‘birthday fundraisers’ on their Facebook and wondered how you could do it too? Look no further! We have compiled a list of instructions on how you can help save cheetahs from extinction for your birthday.

Smartphone app

1) Open your Facebook app and click the 3x straight line icon in the bottom right hand corner

2) Scroll down and click ‘see more’

3) Click ‘fundraisers’

4) Click ‘create fundraiser’ and select ‘charity’

5) You will then be able to search for Cheetah Conservation Fund – CCF UK in the search bar and select us as your charity of choice.

6) You can then set a fundraising goal and tell the world why you are fundraising to save the cheetah! Tell your friends and family all about your fundraiser to get them to donate.

7) Spend your birthday with an even bigger smile on your face knowing you’ve done something amazing!

Desktop

1) Open your Facebook newsfeed

2) In the left hand menu click ‘see more’

 

3) Click ‘fundraisers’

4) Click ‘select charity’ at the top of the page and search for Cheetah Conservation Fund UK – CCF UK

5) Select us as your charity of choice, then edit the information on the left hand side of the page to decide how much you want to set as your fundraising target and what you want to say about why you’re raising money for cheetahs.

6) Spend your birthday with an even bigger smile on your face knowing you’ve done something amazing!
